Richard has more than 25 years of experience working in the elder-care and estate planning space, helping individuals and families prepare for the future through thoughtful planning strategies. His work focuses on building effective long-term plans using tools such as trusts, asset-protection strategies, and specialized planning approaches designed to support aging clients and their families. He is also highly experienced in guiding individuals through the process of qualifying for and receiving Medicaid and Veterans’ Aid & Attendance benefits.
Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management. Throughout his career, he has developed a broad professional background that includes working with financial services organizations and collaborating with professionals across a variety of industries. A widely respected public speaker, Richard frequently presents educational workshops and seminars on topics such as estate planning, Medicaid planning, asset protection, and tax-focused strategies.
Rich lives in Washoe Valley. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the desert with his dogs and powerlifting.
